One of the questions I am asked most often is whether I am available to travel outside Sardinia to photograph weddings elsewhere in Italy.
My answer is always the same: absolutely yes.
In 2025, I had the privilege of documenting several weddings beyond the island, and this celebration in Tuscany, among the rolling hills of Montepulciano, was undoubtedly one of the most evocative and emotionally rich experiences.

Telling a Wedding Story with the Right Amount of Time
When working as a Tuscany wedding photographer, I always arrive at the destination at least two days before the wedding day. This allows me to carefully plan logistics, understand distances, and—most importantly—to begin telling the story of the place without the rush of the event itself.
In the days leading up to the wedding, I photograph the venue and its surrounding landscapes, often with the support of drone imagery, and I visit in advance the locations chosen for the couple’s portraits. I study the light, backgrounds, and timing, allowing space to anticipate and resolve any potential challenges.
It is a quiet, behind-the-scenes process, but an essential one—enabling me to approach the wedding day with clarity, presence, and calm.

A Tuscany Wedding at Tenuta Avignonesi
C&B’s wedding, planned by wedding planner Mariella Santoni, took place at the stunning Tenuta Avignonesi, one of Tuscany’s most enchanting wine estates.
Already extraordinary in its natural beauty, the estate was transformed into something even more magical through a carefully curated design concept. Soft tones, suspended atmospheres, and a perfect balance between nature and refinement made this celebration truly unique.

Wedding Design: Elegance and Harmony Across the Spaces
The event unfolded across three distinct areas of the estate, each with its own identity and mood.
The Ceremony
The ceremony was held in a garden surrounded by historic farmhouses. A live opera performance accompanied the entire celebration, adding emotional depth and intensity to every moment.
Ivory fabric drapes cascaded from above, creating an ethereal backdrop for the ceremony and adorning the walls of the surrounding buildings.

The Aperitif
The aperitif took place beneath a centuries-old tree, decorated with soft, flowing ribbons moving gently in the breeze. A group of musicians, playing acoustic instruments, accompanied guests with ease and warmth, turning this moment into an intimate and joyful experience.

The Dinner
Dinner was set in front of the grand farmhouse of Tenuta Avignonesi. A long imperial table was illuminated by candles of varying heights and adorned with large, delicate floral arrangements in blush pink tones.
Just before dinner began, suspended drapes slowly opened, revealing the full setting in a moment of striking visual impact.

Cake Cutting and First Dance
The cake cutting and first dance returned once more beneath the ancient tree, which, as night fell, lit up with hundreds of tiny lights. The couple danced to Senza Fine by Gino Paoli, wrapped in an atmosphere that felt intimate, timeless, and deeply romantic.
The musicians who had accompanied the aperitif evolved into a kind of wandering ensemble, guiding guests from one area of the celebration to another and creating a seamless, fluid transition between each moment of the day.
