We got married in October 2019 on the glorious backdrop of Sardinia’s capital city, Cagliari. When selecting our wedding photographer, we were drawn to Francesca’s profile due to her photographic style and trustworthy reputation and, therefore, felt very confident in entrusting this task into the hands of such devoted and detail-attentive professional artist. All our exchanges before the shooting were conducted remotely -neither I nor my husband reside in Sardinia- in what became a positively collective process where we were actively asked to contribute our ideas under the photographers’ earnest guidance so as to generate the most unique collection of photographs in accordance to our personal taste. We intentionally hired Francesca along with an other female photographer, Laura, for their different approaches, and the fact that they happened to know each other and worked previously together was of great comfort for us because they knew exactly how to collaborate with each other, and were able to record an whole horizon of feelings and emotions within the shortest amount of time. Francesca worked with a varied light palette, starting from the engagement at sunset and dusk to the the wedding throughout the entire following day in different indoor and outdoor settings, each time beautifully capturing all our significant moments with family and friends. She delivered the final album on the dot a few weeks later; the photos were sensational! Being aware of the amount of passion that went into their making enormously enriched those memories and made us very very happy.

Francesca is an exceptional artist and it was a fantastic experience working with her on our wedding day! She braved the elements to capture images that we (and our family) will cherish forever. Also important to mention, Francesca was able to make us feel comfortable and relaxed (this, coming from two individuals who are more than a bit camera shy) to craft beautiful, emotion filled images. Francesca is undoubtedly one of the most empathetic people I know, as well as a great artist. Her sensitivity is captured in each of her photographs, and when I decided to give me a memory that was "forever" of my pregnancy, I did not hesitate for a moment to choose her. In front of her, I felt "simply" myself. She managed to take the best of me, of us, of our life that was about to change forever. On that day, I experienced one of the greatest emotions of all time and still today, in reviewing those images, a tear flows. Thanks Francesca, I would choose you a thousand times again.

Francesca is a great artist and we strongly wanted her for our wedding for her unmistakable style. Her pictures are beautiful and unique: her playing with shadows, chiaroscuro, soft lights and warm colours make her photographs pure poetry, almost as in a Caravaggio painting, and her marked sensibility allows her to capture authentic moments and make them even more beautiful. We wanted a reportage photoshoot that would capture the day in a spontaneous way, without posing or flashlights, and Francesca was perfect for us not only from an artistic point of view, but also a human one. She was always super available and helpful, she communicated clearly and promptly and sent us our photos (lots of them!) within a few weeks from the event. During the wedding, she was able to capture all the moments of a wonderful day, in a discreet yet precise way: looking at those photographs now is like living those emotions all over again.
