Hotel Su Gologone (Central Sardinia)
Undoubtedly, my favorite place, it’s an example of excellence on the island. A magical place at the foot of Mount Corrasi. The Hotel Su Gologone leaves its visitors stunned with hectares of beauty and nature. From its finely furnished terraces, you can enjoy special aperitifs amidst the chirping of cicadas and the breathtaking view of the nature that characterizes this part of Sardinia.
Inside, there is a cultivated garden where I had the opportunity to photograph the dinner of a special wedding, that of Lauren and Tim, which you can see here. It has several areas where you can celebrate the official civil ceremony, among them the most fascinating is called ‘Sos Nidos’ (the Nests) for its wooden and straw niches where guests can sit in the evening to have a cocktail and watch the stars enveloped in silence.
The cuisine is spectacular, the dishes served are an experience in themselves that I would recommend to everyone visiting the center of the island. In the evening, you can taste the bread and focaccias handmade and baked in a wood-fired oven by the skillful hands of elderly women.”

Antica Dimora del Gruccione (Central Sardinia)
A charming historical house transformed into a scattered hotel, located in the center of the village of Santu Lussurgiu. The Antica Dimora del Gruccione is a welcoming place, a refuge for travelers who enjoy immersing themselves in the flavors of the area. Every detail of this place tells its story and its personality. The ancient rooms are dreamy, reminiscent of bygone times, with retro furnishings and antique wallpaper. One of the things I love most about this structure is waking up in the morning and seeing from the windows the ancient rooftops of the village and hearing the typical sounds and smells of the small Mediterranean town waking up… the birds, the scent of bread, coffee…
Borgo Smeraldo (North Sardinia)
Located between Porto Cervo and Porto Rotondo, immersed in the Mediterranean scrub of the Costa Smeralda, Borgo Smeraldo is a charming typical structure of Gallura. It enjoys a breathtaking view of the sea and the nature that characterizes northern Sardinia. Absolutely wonderful, the first time I saw it, I fell in love with it. The Sullia House is located on the Costa Smeralda (Porto Rotondo), the white and rounded structure, characteristic of northern Sardinia, is definitely one of the most elegant in the area. With a lawn overlooking the sea, perfect for an outdoor ceremony. The pool enjoys a spectacular view, especially at sunset.
Faro Capo Spartivento (South Sardinia)
A fascinating structure located in the extreme south of Sardinia, completely surrounded by Mediterranean scrub and the sea, Capo Spartivento Lighthouse is one of the most unique structures along the Sardinian coast. A few minutes from the sea of Pula, Hotel Corte Noa is an ancient Campidanese house used for events. Wonderful for experiencing a traditional Sardinian atmosphere and tasting typical dishes. Perfect for celebrating the ceremony in the garden and the reception in the same place.
Ros’e and Mari (Oristano)
When a Farm and greenhouse becomes a place for events and receptions, what magic! It is one of the most alternative places in Sardinia, from the typical structure of the greenhouses to the plants and furnishings. The restaurant offers excellent food, and the staff is very professional. I happened to photograph the wedding of a chef and an event organizer (Federico and Valentina) inside, who actively collaborated with the staff to create a dream event!

Villa Asquer (Central-Southern Sardinia)
Villa Asquer is a wonderful ancient residence, now an ethnographic museum, located in the ancient village of Tuili. The scenery with an ancient flavor reminds me of “the village festival” with its stone walls, ancient roofs, and the charming bell tower overlooking the square. The surrounding area is rich in historical points of interest such as the Castle of Sanluri, the Giara plateau, and the Sardegna in Miniatura park and more.

Cantina Sella e Mosca (Northwest Coast – Alghero)
A spectacular winery, definitely one of the most important on the island, Cantina Sella e Mosca is located in Alghero. Inside, you can find the ancient cellar, scenic and charming! It offers the possibility of staying in its finely furnished rooms. In addition to the rows of vines, there is a pond and a large lawn where you can set up the reception. There is also a small and charming church where you can even celebrate the religious ceremony! A truly enchanting place for a destination wedding.
